The Good Gold Days: More Doom & Gloom Please

Look at the prices soar! Ok so Gold prices have been fluctuating like mad lately. But i still believe in YOU Gold! Honestly, things, i.e., the world, economy & etc. isn't going to improve. That's why we have the phrase "The Good Old Days". But hey its The Good Gold Days now! So when doom & gloom rises which I'm sure it will, people go crazy scared and pile in more Gold which will drive prices up. Very interesting psychological element to gold price changes. 

In short, like this dude, its a good time to be a Leprechaun now. So more doom & gloom please! Birdy out. 

Stay Young! Stay Foolish! Or Is It?

Steve Jobs said to "Stay Young! Stay Foolish!". This picture pretty much sums up the career decision I just made. This better work Steve, and no, it is NOT career suicide. Just chowing down some Humble Pie. Tastes like crap to be honest but oh well. Onto the Promised Land we go! Birdy out.

Tired: Sailing Into Another Storm

Storm after storm. I still don't see land. And now I'm heading into another storm. Why do others sail so peacefully and their waters are calm while I have sail through freak storms and violent seas? Are their ships way better than mine? At the end of the day, I really wonder whether if its all worth it. Maybe I should have followed what the smaller ships did and sailed the regular route instead. Alas, my stubborness took precedence and now I'm left holding this ship together though on the verge of sinking. Too late now. My compass and sense of direction are gone and I'm getting really tired. God, I beg you, please help me weather this storm and help me find that land soon. Birdy out..

So Hot: Where's The Rain!?

I bet this picture resonates with the many groans and moans of everyone here in good 'ol Bolehland. Facebook rants about the weather are aplenty too (mine included)! So if there's anyone out there (in M'sia) who feels cold right now, its either you're in an air-conditioned room, dying, or something is extremely wrong with you. 

My First AGM: CIMB Group 2010 Results AGM

Last Friday, I had the privilege to attend CIMB Group's AGM for its 2010 results even though I wasn't a share holder. Oh, for all of you who didn't know, CIMB standarized all its colors to red. No more green/blue.

Where Am I Going?

Everyday I ask myself and God where am I headed career wise. But then again, should I be worried? Worrying does not even make tomorrow better, it just ruins today. So why am I going nuts and defying my logic by worrying? God led me to where I am now for a reason, He sure ain't gonna leave me here to dry. Maybe He wants me to totally be submissive and obedient. I really want to. So God please help me and thank you for everything thus far. Birdy out.

Books: Teohlogy & The Coming Economic Armageddon

Added two (2) new books into my "modest library" today. I've always been a big fan of Uncle Patrick's writings or rants. Read about David Jeremiah's book in Star Biz last Saturday and the theme of using biblical references to explain or predict the coming economic hoo-haa really piqued my interest. Well gonna start reading em as soon as I finish my other unfinished bookSSS. Birdy out!
